Which is better?

I was travelling in a APSRTC bus from Hyderabad to Bangalore few days back. It was bit rainy and by the time we reached Jadcherla it was already 8PM. Driver and conductor gave a break for dinner in that bus stop. We were about to get down and saw a few child beggars coming towards us. Their dress and appearance was so pathetic that it was giving a impression that they are really struggling for food and shelter. I was about to give some money to one kid before which my co-passenger stopped me. He was explaining that it was a big mafia kind where children are forced to beg and finally at the end of the day whole money goes into some other pocket. This whole business goes on a daily wages kind where each child gets an amount of Rs.100/- per day. Even small kids of age 2-3 years are rented from child care centers for this purpose. I couldn't believe it for a second. He just asked me to wait and watch and we saw one child beggar going and depositing the money in one of the shop keepers bin. I just argued that it was just exchange of change for cash. But my co-passenger was stubborn on his views and  he clearly explained what was happening there. After all this, we got into bus and small kid of around 6-7 years came near our bus window and started shouting and crying for money. What a horrible way of begging it was!!!!!!! For a moment i was thinking where the parents of this child have gone.

People every other day raise a big hue and cry about child labour. But what should we say about this? This is more worse than child labour. Because of this begging childern are becoming lazy and loosing all thier imaginative power and finally sometimes they may also turn into thief. Child labour earn depending on their own strengths and their capabilites. Here the situation is different and children are getting turned to dumb and mild kind of nature. Government always concentrates on child labour and we don't know they doesn't realize that this is more dangerous than labour. Isn't child labour far far better than children begging? For me it is.. It is high time our governments realize this and wipe off this kind of begging mafia and provide shelter to these children.
