After a brief period where the Pakistan held the number 1 rank, it was turn of Indians to bounce bank and they white-washed kiwis comfortably and regain their world no.1 rank status. In this cat and mouse fight for world number 1 test rank, Pakistan again started their efforts to conquer the world number 1 test rank. As a first step they won the first test match against West-Indies in a tough fight. Even though the series is happening outside their home country, Pakistani nationals would be happy if they see a comfortable series win against west indies and close the gap at the top of the rankings table.
