To You - From Me

Long back, i had a friend who loved a girl. He was waiting for that ultimate moment to propose her. Girl knowing all this never

encouraged him. She used to cut short all conversations with him and was within limits. He was such a decent and innocent fellow

that he never used to talk with other girls. The only girl in her mind was her. He was not that good in studies. But he is smart

enough to find a job and lead his family. Observing all this, one day suddenly she called and him and accepted his love.

It was his birthday that day and she gave a greeting & chocos to him on the occasion. It was the first gift that was exchanged

between them and we all friends were eager to see the wordings. We were surprised to see "To you" then the subject that mattered

and then "From Me" at the end.

We all were surprised to see "To You,From Me" on the greeting and confirmed that she didn't have guts to mention either names.

Why not, afterall, our friend, a boy didn't have guts to propose and we can't expect a girl to do something magical. We tried to

tease him and he was dissapointed to see those words rather than their names. More than excitement it was dissapointment.

But later we came to know how foolish we were. She explained us that using "You and Me" is more personal than using names. Using

"You and Me" gives a feeling of closeness. She was so professional in using those words and we made fun of those words.
