Four friends met after a long time and were sitting in a restaurant and having lunch together. Lunch table is one where all the silly topics come for discussion. But that day it was different from routine and the discussion was more about the power cut in different parts of the town. Three among them were affected by the power cut last night and didn't have a proper sleep. It was visible from their dull faces. When the three others were describing about the troubles with mosquitoes and extent of humidity, the fourth one was enjoying their troubles. He didn't even talk even after all others finished. One among the other three got a doubt on the behaviour of fourth guy and asked him the reason for not speaking about his troubles. Then only the fourth guy started explaining about the location he has been living and why the power cut didn't affected him. He told that they live in the second floor of an apartment where there is enough ventilation from four corners and all the corners were covered by deep greenery. The others could observe his enthusiasm while explaining few things like the fresh air they breathe, the lowest pollution that they could feel in the air, the coolness that they feel in a deep and humid summer. The others were excited when they were hearing many things about the advantages of that greenery that was covering his apartment. One person among the three got a doubt regarding the flies and mosquitoes that should be there inspite of the greenery and questioned him. He replied back to those guys saying that I co-ordinate with the local garbage management guys and take initiation in my colony to clear all the garbage that is thrown in the dust-bins and with this there are no signs of flies and mosquitoes in our colony.
Everyone wanted to have such atmosphere around their houses but all the other three on the table had no chance as they were surrounded by concrete jungles and foul smelling gaebage bins around their homes. One among them said that I will try to take initiation and grow more trees in our locality, I will talk with locals and try to maintain dust-bins neat and ensure that all the garbage is pulled out on time. The other two also came to the same conclusion.
The same guys met after two days from that day and this time everyone were happy inspite of the power cuts in their areas. If all of us like these guys can keep our surroundings green and neat, there is no need to depend on the artificial means of energy for our survival and peacefulness.
