Brand "Kohli" gets better and better

Few years back, if someone asked you who on earth you feel is the best cricketer in the world, then most of the cricket lovers without a second thought mentions Sachin Tendulkar. If you an Indian, then more than 90% of the people vote for Sachin. After Sachin retired no one would have even thought that there would be someone coming up in the future to step into his shoes. But a superstar came up breaking all the expectations and he became the new run machine and in fact the captain of Indian team in all formats. With his under-19 form, he came to Indian team and he initially struggled with his form and could not reach the expectations. When he was given chances by the team management irrespective of initial hiccups, he started his caliber and he is now the  best batsmen in the world. He is taking control of the situation on the field in such a way that Indians are right now not feeling that stalwarts like Tendulkar,  Ganguly, Dravid, VVS Laxman are missed. He seems to be a combination of all of them and making team and country proud. In his short career and many achievements, he reached one more milestone where he is now the Top-7 in the Forbes Top-10 list of sports persons for the year 2017. He crossed Lionel Messi and is now geared to go up further next year.  This is indeed a great moment to cherish for him and a proud moment for all the sports lovers in India. While football is considered a global game with fans all around the world, it is common to see footballers in the list but a cricketer coming up in the list only on his talent and skills is something amazing. Forbes calculated Kohli's brand value as $14.5 million. Roger Federer is way above all others in the list with a brand value at $37.2 million. After Dhoni having a place in the Top-10 list for the last few years, it is now the turn of one of the hottet cricketers in the cricket arena, Virat Kohli. He is definitely set to break all the world records in batting if he set to continue for the next 10 years in the International cricket.
