A quick fire 125 by Indian opener Rohit Sharma helped India to beat Australia in the last ODI of the 5-match series. India won the series 4-1. India are now the top ranked side in the world cricket in ODI as well as Test matches. Australia has good starts with the bat in this series but struggled to keep the momentum in the middle overs as Indian spinners had an upper hand with excellent control and guile in their bowling. Hardik Pandya with his performances won the player of the series award while Rohit Sharma won the player of the match award.
