This is the 5th season of the Pro Kabaddi league. They won the tournament for the third consecutive time. Pardeep Narwal has been the star for Patna Pirates. In the league stage, Patna Pirates lost twice against Gujarat Fortunegiants. This is the first season for Gujarat Fortunegiants in Pro Kabaddi League.
