After winning the Denmark superseries and 3rd Superseries Premier Title of his career, Kidambi Srikanth from India beat another Indian HS Prannoy 14-21, 21-19, 21-18 in the semi-final of the French Open super series. This is his second successive and fifth Superseries final of the year .PV Sindhu lost the semi-final match 14-21, 9-21 to Akane Yamaguchi of Japan. Akane will face top seed Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei in the final on Sunday. Akane lost the final of Denmark Super series.
