An attacker associated with Islamic state rented a car in New York city and rammed the vehicle into cyclists and pedestrians killing 8 of them. Police immediately shot at him after the truck crashed. This is the worst attack in New York after 9/11.
Now, the immigration gets tougher and the attempts to allow green cards based on talent rather than lottery may come into place. The attacker entered the US as a part of the lottery program.
