Bhaagamathie - Telugu Movie Review

Without much star cast and depending on charm of Anushka, Bhagmathi was made. Anushka did full justice to the role and she doesn't disappoint you. she is seen portraying two roles in the movie to perfection. The whistles you hear from audience in theater when Anushka is seen on the screen says it all.

Director succeeded in bringing the comedy, fear factor together to come up with a decent movie. All the suspense was revealed during the final stages of the movie, and as it was done in a hurry, and so you may feel the climax is not up to the mark. The movie has a touch of political flavor as well.

Intially, you feel that movie is going no where but once Bhagmathi comes on screen, the real show starts.

There is only one song in the movie and it is well picturized. Background score is OK. You might be surprised to hear that Thaman is the music director of the movie because you don't hear that roaring beats anywhere. Thaman did a fantastic job.

At some stage in the movie, you feel this is the same Chandramukhi or the Prema katha chitram and nothing different. But the director surprise you towards the end.

The situational comedy brings laughts else otherwise it is a horror genre story.

The sets of the movie are OK but don't give you that wow factor.

For those people, who are regular watchers of the thrillers, won't feel nothing new but still the movie makes them glued to their seats with few suspense scenes and which are very hard to guess.
