England opening batsman and former captain Alistair Cook announced retirement from international cricket. He was out of form in the ongoing India series. Cook is the sixth highest run scorer in tests and is right behind greats like sangakkara, dravid, tendulkar and so on. Everyone feel that he has the ability to cross that 15000 mark in tests but he gave up saying he has nothing left in the tank. As cricket fans we are lucky to see a proper test batsmen in this generation. In this modern cricket era, dominated by T20 style of cricket it shall be hard to find a proper test batsman like Cook.
