Once upon a time there was a big kingdom for which Ruthuraj was a king. He had a very smart minister Kanagaraj who always used to think of welfare of people. Ruthuraj was a greedy king and he always wanted to be the richest king. He used to collect taxes on every thing from the people of his kingdom. People used to suffer a lot under his rule. All the taxes, gold and precious items were stored by kind in a locker which had many secret keys. Kanagaraj used to explain to king on the consequences of his actions to his king and was always warning of a revolt from people. King always turned deaf ear to the minister. Once minister thought that he should teach a lesson to his king. The only way king can learn a lesson is by loosing all his wealth. Minster once approached a big robber sathiraj and gave a clue to all the keys of the locker to him. He suggested sathiraj to take away all the wealth that night. Sathiraj used that opportunity and looted all the wealth that night. The next day when king woke up he was shocked to see that all is wealth was stolen. He immediately called for a meeting and asked for inquiry into this. A month passed and nothing moved ahead with the inquiry. By that time king lost all his glory and all the people of kingdom wanted him to step down to look out for a better king. Kanagaraj, the minster interfered and pacified the people of the kingdom. The king was very much impressed with the minister and understood that people of his kingdom were silent because of his wealth and not because of his power and love towards him. He understood his mistakes and started ruling the kingdom in a more people friendly manner. As king learnt a lesson, kanagaraj asked sathiraj to hand over all the money he robbed from the king. Sathiraj also was left free as he surrendered by himself.
