India has 2 rocket launching stations. One is located in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh - which is named Satish Dhawan Space Centre and the second rocket launching station is located in Thiruvananthapuram (Thumba), Kerala - which is named Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre.
Most of the space related missions are done from Satish Dhawan Space Centre.
