In India, for example, places like New Delhi will see the Sun rise around 5:23 AM and set around 7:23 PM—about 14 hours of daylight. The farther north you go, the longer the day gets. In some Arctic regions, the Sun doesn’t set at all during this time—a phenomenon called the Midnight Sun.
