Twitter has increased the character limit for posts by users to 280 from 140. You can post more and express your views vivid. Generally, users of twitter find it very difficult to limit their posts to 140 and now they will be overjoyed. most of us don't compare with the SMS messages but previous limit of 140 is same a the SMS limit we see in mobile phones.
