Can the other states take a note of the situation in Delhi right now? Governments say they are planting lakhs of plantations but age old trees which have been helping the people to have a fresh breather have been uprooted for various reasons. How many of us care for the environment around?

A very nice initiative called "Car Free Thrusday" has been initiated in Hyderabad some time back. Public transport has been arranged from some remote locations on that day. So, the intention was to reduce the usage of own transport and use public transport but no one bothered except few people. It is very heartening to see few people using bicycles on some days and government should come up with some rewards for such people.

Burning plastic and other waste is very dangerous. But people keep burning them. None of them should burn out the garbage around us. It is only municipality staff who carry all the waste and dump in specific places. But we to have a clean surroundings, keep burning the garbage. Adding to it, we never use the dust bins to dump the garbage.
