Bharath Anu Nenu - Telugu Movie Review

When the combination of Koratala Siva and Mahesh Babu repeats, you must expect something related to the society. Especially, Koratla Siva with his other movies Mirchi, Janatha Garage tried to create awareness. This time he took up the political point and tried to give a message on how present political scenario is.

Mahesh has excelled in the role. Somehow we feel that the chief Minister role doesn't suit him. Most of the time you feel things around the chief Minister role are artifical but the charm and action of Mahesh brings things back. Especially, in the first song, you feel it is the same Mahesh you have seen in Yuvaraju years back. Not sure how this guy works out to maintain that charm forever.

Background music is excellent and it lifts the hero and movie at all places. You feel like whistling in the theater when hero gets elevated all the time. Inspite of good background score, the songs are not so great except the title song and the Vachadaiyo Swamy.

Heroine did a good job and no negatives on action. Looks wise, she may not score much. If you are fan of Srimanthudu, you still feel Shruthi Hasan in the role. she would have been 100% fit but nothing to take away from the actress here.

First half of the movie is OK and you don't feel bored. The second half starts on a promising note and progresses well. It all worked out well till Mahesh resigns from chief minister post. After that you start feeling bored and this continues till the end. The last half an hour of the movie is what spoils the
party and test your patience as doesn't offer anything special.

You see some familiarities in some scnes to the previous Koratala Siva movies. Like for example, in Srimanthudu Mahesh sees the heroine, and keeps taking turns around the same roads, here the scenario is different but hero observes the heroine from car and it repeats next days. In Srimanthudu, you see a Mango plantation of the villain for killing people and here one of the villian uses movie theater for killing people. In Srimanthudu, you see villains running behind Mahesh on cycle and here people run behind Mahesh who is on the car. Some of the sets looks similar to the director previous movies Mirchi, Srimanthudu.

One interesting thing here is that Mahesh says he is chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and includes Karimnagar, Srikakulam, etc in his YSR style Rachabanda programme. While we are two states now and cannot be called Andhra Pradesh including Karimnagar, director took brave decision to include that way. End of the day we haven't seen any noise created because of that scenes and people took movie as a movie and not as reality.

All the actors did a good job and Brahmaji esepcially seems to be getting many comic and important roles these days.

One of the major negative point is that hero-heroine thread is left open and without conclusion. Telugu audience like a happy moments at the end of the movie and if this thread was closed, it would have been better.

If you ask us BookMyShow rating, we shall give 70% for the movie.
