There was lot expected from the movie as one this is Natural Star Nani movie and second reason being this is directed by Merlapaka Gandhi who directed movies like Venkatadri Express and Express Raja. Krishnarjuna Yudham is his third movie.
Nani played a dual role in the movie, one with name Krishna and one with name Arjun. If you don't fall in love with Krishna character after watching the movie, you don't have a good taste. As Krishna character with Chitoor slang entertains you, the other role Arjun just fell flat. It is no where near the
Krishna character. One can say Krihsna character is one of the best in Nani career. If you go through director portfolio, you realize that director is from Chitoor and that explains how he could characterize the Krishna character.
Background music is loud and irritating int he beginning but as movie gradually progresses and you get involved in the movie, you feel background music has nothing to do. You don't feel you are listening to telugu songs and actually they are not so watchable on the screen except the "dhari choodu" song which is the best song among the Nani albums. The picturization of "dhari choodu" song is also good and feel like watching the song again.
At the beginning, you feel the movie is dumb but director slowly drags you to the story and keeps entertaining you in bits and pieces with some cute moments between the hero and heroine. Anupama as always is a big asset and dominating among the heroines. Some of the scenes are hillarious especially the Brahmaji role. There is nothing special in the movie but definitely you don't feel bored. First half passes by with entertainment and second half moves up and down.
If audience wait and watch the few scenes during the final titles, you can say that movie got connected to audience. Audience wait for those scenes and this is indication that they liked the movie.
