Myself and my colleague were in the Chicago Airport, USA. We were in search of our terminals for checking in the luggage. We were slowly walking down and a lady who was waiting approached us and asked a question, "Apko Urdu atha hai kaya?". We replied that we know Hindi better. She started talking in Hindi and requested us if we can help her. We said, Yes!. Before proceeding further, we asked her where she was from. She replied Pakistan. And we promptly said we are from India. It was very engaging moment for me at least as it was first time I was talking with a Pakistan national. When she said Pakistan, we were more than willing to help her and asked her what help she needed, Then she requested to call her husband as she was waiting for him and her mobile signal has an issue. She happily spoke with her husband and requested him to return back soon. She cut the call and thanked us for the help. Then we went on to talk casually and asked her where she was from. She replied back Karachi and asked us where we were heading to. We replied the destination name and she joked saying why you want to leave Chicago? Didn't you guys like it? We just smiled and told we are on business visit and we have to leave. She thanked again for the help and we left from there.
As Indians, we always love Pakistanis and we are like brothers and sisters. As per history, we were together and continue to support and love each other even though we are separate countries now. Lets support each other when we are outside our territories.
