Bike Trip to Kondapochamma Sagar

The day to go for a well planned bike trip has come. Obviously, the biggest problem for these kind of trips is co-ordination and people not being on time. With a slight delay and people scattered all over a small time delay, we ultimately started the trip and gathered together at Shameerpet. Those last minute delays by the guys is expected and finally around 6.30 AM we started from Shameerpet. Within an hour we were at the location.

The biggest point to remember while going to Kondapochamma Sagar is that there are several entrances to go to the reservoir. For all those who are planning to go to Kondapochamma Sagar, please, plan to go to the reservoir via the village and not any other entrances. All the entrances are closed and security in place. We have seen that many people coming from Hyderabad returned in disappointment after their entry was rejected. Bike is the best option to go this place and go to top of the reservoir and for guys going by car, you have a tough time and walk a lot.

We spent an hour around the reservoir and with the help of local guys caught some fish as well. Caught 8 live fish and only 1 survived by the time we reached Hyderabad. Dropped it carefully in our aquarium and it is active and running with other fishes.

We started around 9AM from reservoir and moved to highway. On the highway in Markook, we had breakfast and it was awesome. We had breakfast in the famous Raghavendra tiffins in Markook. After starting at 10AM from Raghavendra some people moved towards Hyderabad and some of the people were interested to go Wargal Sarawasthi temple. Wargal saraswathi temple is around 8-10kms away from reservoir. You must have Wargal Sarawasthi temple in your plan.
