Talent vs Productivity

We see many companies being setup like mushrooms every year. Some can withstand market competition and grow stronger where as some get shutdown soon unable to cope up with the competition. Always makes one wonder why they tend to go down when they have started with high aspirations.

There can be many reasons like improper planning, bad management, lack of customer base, lack of quality employees, high attrition rate, market downfall, etc. Whatever may be the reasons mentioned here , finally one critical point always matters and that is work force. Yes, irrespective of whatever you have in hand if you don't have a qulaity work force it will always hurts a company. Having a talented work force is not enough sometimes. The company growth always depends on how you get the maximum productivity out of these talented work force. If you are able adminsitrator you can balance this talent and prodcutivity of this talent and take your company forward.

For a company to grow and move forward, there shouldn't be a trade off between Talent and productivity. If such a trade off appears, then there is some problem from the management side. If management can sense this and take necessary steps, company grows, else it always falters.
